Zacob Sportiv was born when Creative Director Natalie Martinov combined two very important elements that have shaped her life until this day – fashion & sport.
Natalie felt an overwhelming inspiration from the fact that sport is timeless and the concepts involved in sport are transferable in all walks of life.
Instead of creating active wear Natalie saw a gap in the market for high-end wear that was rather inspired by sport, and delved into this concept to create a fusion of luxury design and athletic accents.
Design aesthetics might be as minimal as stripes to represent speed, buckles taken from sportswear or using the same fabric as real life sporting uniforms. These elements are then combined with high-end designs to create sports luxe attire. This concept is where neoprene dedicated swimwear pieces evolved.
Designs may come across tomboy in appearance yet are feminine in the female form.
Zacob Sportiv tells a story of the importance of sport not only in life but also in fashion; representing strength, opportunity, and a unified culture, where people from all walks of life despite their differences can come together for a common goal or reason.
Either worn as a swimsuit or styled with day/evening wear, Zacob Sportiv has big plans to be segmented in the market as a one-stop shop destination where fashion meets sport.
